Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please note: this Refund & Cancellation Policy will only take effect if you choose to pay for and subscribe to the Pro version when we introduce subscription plans later this year. This does not affect the unpaid and free public beta that we are already providing access to. However, please note that these free public betas may no longer function once paid subscription plans are launched.

After you activate the Scrite app, you can use it freely on your device for one month. After that, you’ll need to subscribe to continue using it. We assume that during the trial, you’ve had enough time to test the app and ensure it works well on your computer. Once you subscribe, the following terms will apply:

1. Device Limit

Each Scrite user must sign up for their own subscription. However, one user can activate their subscription on up to three devices.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

Our subscription plans are pre-paid for one year. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that your payment is non-refundable and non-cancellable. This applies regardless of whether or not you use the service during the subscription period. The subscription grants you access to all features of Scrite for the duration of one year from the date of making the payment.

Please note: Subscription plans cannot be cancelled or refunded under any circumstance, even if we change pricing after you have completed your payment, or if the product stops working, behaves unexpectedly, or if WE are unable to resolve any issues during the subscription term.

3. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions will not be automatically renewed at the end of the one-year period. You will be notified before the expiry date and will have the option to manually renew your subscription after your plan expires. WE cannot guarantee that the renewal price will remain the same.

4. Duplicate Payments

In the event of duplicate payments due to a technical error, please contact us at support@scrite.io with proof of the error. Upon verification, we will issue a refund for the duplicate payment. Refund of duplicate payment(s) will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

5. Partial Usage

Since our subscriptions are not cancellable, we do not offer refund for partially used subscription periods.

6. Changes to Subscriptions

At this time, Scrite does not offer the ability to upgrade or downgrade subscription plans during the active subscription period. All subscription changes, including renewals, will take effect at the end of the current subscription period.

7. Changes to the Policy

We may update this Cancellation and Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of Scrite after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new policy.
