Some of our users have reported that Scrite freezes while opening a file created in the same or previous version of Scrite.
To open such documents, please switch to the Structure tab using the tab-bar towards the top right.
Try opening the file now. If Scrite opens the file, then add one or more scenes in this tab, save it and then switch to the Screenplay tab.
We are investigating this issue and will eventually have a fix for it. However for now, this may be a quick workaround.
