To update to a newer version, you will have to uninstall the previous version of Scrite. In this page we describe how to uninstall Scrite from your computer.
Uninstalling Scrite on macOS
Go to Finder and switch to the Applications folder. Find the Scrite app and drag it to Trash. Alternatively you can right click and select “Move To Bin”.
Uninstalling Scrite on Windows
On Windows 10, you can open Settings > Apps, search for Scrite in the list and click Uninstall.
Uninstalling Scrite on Linux
Scrite on Linux is simply an AppImage file. To uninstall Scrite on Linux, just delete the AppImage file.
